MARATHON DU MONT-BLANC

The ROLLER COASTER at the heart of the European mountains offers the most breathtaking scenery on the majestic Mont Blanc. From 2022, the Start/Finish area is from downtown Chamonix. So, the race profile, with a long downhill just before the finish line, addes new zest to the ranking.

The Mont-Blanc Marathon continued its strong progression with the arrival of the Vertical Kilometer in 2011, the Mont Blanc 80km in 2013, and lastly, the Duo Étoilé, and the Young Marathon Race in 2015. In 2017 it increased in size with the arrival of the Golden Trail Series that aims to professionalize the Trail Running discipline. Currently, the event counts 10,500 runners.
