The GTNS races for CZE/SK/POL are: SALOMON DRAGON TRAILS, SALOMON VALAŠSKÝ HRB, GOLDEN MOUNTAINS TRAIL, SALOMON JESENICKÝ MARATON and the GTNS CZE/SK/POL national final is TATRA SKYMARATHON.
IT IS EACH INDIVIDUAL ATHLETE’S RESPONSIBILITY TO
RESPECT THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF EACH RACE.
- The allocation of points is based on the official results list of the event.
- Runners must participate in at least 2 out of the 4 qualifying races + national final to count in the overall ranking.
- Every runner can sign up for the national final, also if they did not reach the top 3 on one of the qualifying races before.
- The overall ranking will take into account each runner’s 2 best results from the qualifying races plus the result of the national final (TATRA SKYMARATHON).
The national final is mandatory to get a ranking and qualify for the GTNS Grand Final (place TBD), and the national final’s points are double*
*For TATRA SKYMARATHON points will be doubled. The winner will receive 200 Points, 59th position will receive 2 points
TOP5 runners M&W and TOP3 runners M&W U23 in overall ranking after 4 qualifying races will be invited (will receive free bibs) for the national final (Tatra Skymarathon)
The GTNS CZE/SVK/POL top 2 men and women in the overall ranking will receive tickets* for the GTNS Grand Final.
Also the best U23* runner male and women in the overall ranking will receive tickets for the Grand Final:
In the event there is a tie:
1- The best place on one of the GTNS CZE/SVK/POL 2024 qualifying race
2- The second place on one of the GTNS CZE/SVK/POL 2024 qualifying race
3- The third place on one of the GTNS CZE/SVK/POL 2024 qualifying race
This Grand Final will gather all the different GTNS (GTNS FR-BEL / GTNS SP-POR/ GTNS IT / GTNS UK / GTNS CZE-SK-POL/ GTNS GER-AUT-CH/ GTNS US-CAN/ GTNS MEXICO/ GTNS NORDICS).
If a runner didn’t reach the top 2 or top 1 U23 in the national final to receive an invitation to the GTNS Grand Final, he/she can still go at his/her own expense.
RANKING POINTS BREAKDOWN FOR GTNS CZE/SVK/POL RACES -1st to 30th:
In the event of race cancellations, the rules will apply as below:
– In the event, some races are cancelled but there are still at least 3 races and the GTWS has switched to a GTC format the top 3 M & W of the GTNS CZE/SVK/POL will win a Golden Ticket for the GTC 2024. The GTNS Grand Finale is cancelled.
– In the event, there are still at least 3 races active but there are less than 3 GTNS still active, the GTNS Grand Finale is cancelled. The M & W winners of the GTNS CZE/SVK/POL will receive a Golden Ticket for the GTC 2024.
– In the event, there are less than 3 races but the GTWS and the other GTNS are still active, the GTNS CZE/SVK/POL is cancelled and the winners of the races not cancelled are invited to the GTNS Grand Finale directly.
– In the event, there are less than 3 races and the GTWS has already switched to the GTC format, the GTNS CZE/SVK/POL switches to a GTC format. The winners of the races which have not been cancelled get a Golden Ticket for the GTC 2024.
In the event of injury and the inability to compete before the competition, the runner who would have won a ticket for the GTNS Grand Final, or for the GTC, will not receive any compensation and will lose his/her ticket and will not receive travel expenses.
Any competitor expressly waives the right to the image during the GOLDEN TRAIL NATIONAL SERIES 2024, as he/she renounces all recourse against the organizer and the authorized partners for the use made of his/her image.
In accordance with the Data Protection Act, 6th January 1978, you have the right to access and rectify your personal data. Through us, you may receive proposals from other companies or associations. If you do not want to receive these proposals, please write to us with your full name and address.
There is only one category per gender: Overall male and overall female. Every runner is treated equally, has to meet the same requirements and needs to run the same distance.
Each qualifying race of the season give the following prize money for the top 3 men and women:
1st: € 300
2nd: € 200
3rd: € 100
The first 2 men and women from the GTNS CZE/SVK/POL overall ranking + the best men and women from U23 category will receive their tickets* to participate in the GTNS Grand Final in TBD.
The reward for these athletes is to participate in the GTNS final = One week all expenses paid
The ranking of the GTNS teams at the final will be done with the best Elite athlete M&W + the best athlete in the Under23 category M&W.
At the final, the Top2 M&W + The Top1 U23 M&W will get a Golden Ticket* for the GTWS 2025.
*Ticket: [race bib]+ [accommodation & meals for 8 days]+ [transport in the maximum sum specified up to €600 from Europe]. Financial support will be provided to cover transport costs.
*U23 definition:
U23 = Athletes that have less than 23 years of age until 31.12.2024.
Meaning athletes born until 31.12.2001 can participate in the U23 category.
