The GTNS races for Spain-Portugal are: LouzanTrail, Aloñako Igoera, Olla de Núria and the GTNS ESP-POR national final is the Salomon Mitja Pirineu..
IT IS EACH INDIVIDUAL ATHLETE’S RESPONSIBILITY TO RESPECT THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF EACH RACE.
RANKING POINTS BREAKDOWN – 1st to 30th :
Runners must participate in at least three out of four qualifying races, and reach the to be invited to the GTNS Grand Final. Only the three best results will count for the final ranking.
Last Race, Salomon Mitja Pirineu, is mandatory and in this race the points are doble.
The GTNS ESP-PT top 2 men and women, and the top 1 U23 men and women in the overall ranking will receive tickets* for the GTNS Grand Final.
U23 means that the athlete will not turn 23 years old on 2024.
If a U23 runner finishes in the top 2, the third slot goes to the next
young runner in the race ranking.
In the event there is a tie:
1- The best place on one of the GTNS ESP/POR qualifying race
2- The second place on one of the GTNS ESP/POR qualifying race
3- The third place on one of the GTNS ESP/POR qualifying race
This Grand Final will gather all the different GTNS (GTNS FR-BEL / GTNS SP-POR/ GTNS IT / GTNS UK / GTNS CZE-SK-POL/ GTNS GER-AUT-CH/ GTNS US-CAN/ GTNS MEXICO/ GTNS NORDICS, etc).
If an athlete did not finish in the top 3 of the national ranking, he/she will have the possibility to participate in the GTNS Grand Final on his/her own.
If there are a race cancellations,
the rules will apply as below:
– 1. In the event of cancellation of one or two races, only two races will count for the overall GTNS ESP-POR classification, and points for order of finish will be the same for all races.
In the event of injury and the inability to compete before the competition, the runner who would have won a ticket for the GTNS Grand Final, or for the GTC, will not receive any compensation, will lose his/her ticket, and will not receive travel expenses.
There is only one category: scratch male and scratch female
The Top2 M&W + the Top1 U23 M&W from the GTNS final ranking after the Final (Salomon Mitja Pirineu) will receive their tickets for the GTNS Grand Final 2024. Therefore, they will receive financial* support up to the maximum sum specified in the GTNS Grand Final 2024 rules to participate in the GTNS Grand Final, and receive free and guaranteed race bib.
The confirmation to take part to the final will be 3 days after the Salomon Ultra Pirineu. If some of the top three athletes didn't reply to the organizers or can not go to the Grand final, it will be GTNS Spain and Portugal who will decide who can go to replace him.
*Ticket: [race bib]+ [accommodation]+ [transport in the maximum sum specified up to €300 from Europe to Europe ]. To receive this support, the athlete must provide an invoice to Amer sports Spain with all the travel expenses don by the athlete as a vendor.
** U23 means that the athlete will not turn 23 years old on 2024.
Any competitor expressly waives the right to the image during the GOLDEN TRAIL SERIES , as he/she renounces all recourse against the organizer and the authorized partners for the use made of his/her image.

forbidden without the use of our logo and the names of the photographers must
be identified in case of a public publication.
