IT IS EACH INDIVIDUAL ATHLETE’S
RESPONSIBILITY TO RESPECT THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF EACH RACE.
Runners must participate in one of the seven qualifying races to have the opportunity to get support for the Golden Trail Series Nordics final. We will hand out 42 Golden Tickets in total in the Nordics; the podium for each qualifying race.
The Nordics final is mandatory to have a chance to qualify for the Golden Trail World Series (GTWS) final. In the Nordics final we will send 3 men and 3 women.
This Grand world final in October will gather all the different Golden Trail National Series: France-Belgium, Spain-Portugal, Italy, United Kingdom, Germany-Austria, Czech Republic-Slovakia-Poland, USA-Canada, Mexico and the Nordics.
The top 3 men and women from this Grand Final will the win a Golden Ticket to participate in the Golden Trail Championship (GTC) 2025, under the condition that he/she has participated in one of the Golden Trail National Series 2024.
In the event of race
cancellations, the rules will apply as below:
– In the event one of the
qualifying races is postponed
and/or cancelled the participant will be informed about the alternative
solution.
– In the event there are less than
3 GTNS still active, the GTNS Grand Final is cancelled. The M&W winners of
the GTNS NORDICS will receive a Golden Ticket for the GTC 2025.
– In the event the GTWS has
switched to the GTC format, the GTNS NORDICS switches to a GTC format. The
winners of the races which have not been cancelled get a Golden Ticket for the
GTC 2025.
– In the final event on 21th
of September 2024 is postponed and/or cancelled, the winners of the GTNS Nordics
will be selected by a lottery organized by the Golden Trail National Series
Nordics among the winners of the four qualifying races.
In the event of injury and the
inability to compete before the competition, the runner who would have won a ticket
for the GTNS Grand Final, or for the GTC, will not receive any compensation and
will lose his/her ticket and will not receive travel expenses.
There is only one category:
scratch male and scratch female.
The podium in both categories of
each qualifying race of the GTNS Nordics will receive their tickets* to
participate the GTNS Nordic Final.
3 men and women from the GTNS Grand Final at Fýri Trail in Hemsedal will receive their tickets for the Golden Trail World Series Final 2024. Therefore, they will receive financial support with travel, accommodation, food and race bib at the final.
Any competitor expressly waives
the right to the image during the GOLDEN TRAIL NATIONAL SERIES 2024, as he/she
renounces all recourse against the organizer and the authorized partners for
the use made of his/her image.
In accordance with the Data
