Unfinished Business, the 45-minute recap of the 2025 Golden Trail World Series (GTWS) season, will premiere on Monday, November 3rd, at 7:00 PM (CET) on Eurosport 1. This exclusive episode offers fans a fresh and emotional look back at the season, featuring the most thrilling moments, behind-the-scenes insights, and never-before-seen interviews with the athletes who defined the year.

The episode tells a tale of redemption and unfinished stories finally coming full circle. Madalina Florea (Romania - Scott Running) bounced back from her 2024 near-win to claim the 2025 women’s overall title. Meanwhile, the Kenyan stars Patrick Kipngeno and Philemon Kiriago (Run2gether On Trail) still have scores to settle after once again falling short of dethroning the reigning king, Elhousine Elazzaoui (Morocco – Nnormal).

The 2025 GTWS season also marked the rise of new contenders such as the Americans Taylor Stack (Brooks) and Lauren Gregory (Nike ACG), both of whom have already shown they’ll be forces to reckon with in 2026.

“I know, I need to really wake up if it’s true,” says an emotional Florea in the episode after sealing her overall victory. “My goal this season was to win the Golden Trail World Series for the second time, and I’m very, very happy. It’s historic, and it’s also the result of all the work and training we’ve put in,” adds the men's winner Elazzaoui.
