Rules
Access to the GTWS Grand final
The overall ranking will take into account the runner’s best results from qualifying races and final participation. From 1st to 30thplace will be get series point. GTNS Japan Final will be get double point. Mandatory points requirement 1 series races plus GTNS JAPAN Final (HAKUBA CLASSIC INTERNATIONAL).
The top 3 Male and Female of result of GTNS JAPAN point ranking will win his/her “golden ticket” to participate at the Golden Trail World Series Grand final in Italy on 9 October 2025.
This invitation includes race bib, flight ticket up to 1500 euros, accommodation, meals and transportation.
The event of a tie
In the event of a tie, we will apply the following rules to rank the runners:
- The best place on one of the qualifying races.
- The second-best place on one of the qualifying races.
- If an athlete beat his/her direct competitor during the GTNS season.
Injuries
In the event of injury and inability to compete before the competition, the runner who would have won his ticket for the GTWS Grand Final will not receive any compensation, he/she will lose the ticket and will not receive travel expenses
*Individual race rules are as per race event criteria and ultimately race directors’ judgment.
