Set between Lake Garda and the Brenta Dolomites in Italy’s Trentino region, this UNESCO Biosphere Reserve pairs dramatic 2,000-metre peaks with forests, meadows and the crystal-clear waters of Lake Ledro. The Ledro Sky Trentino course blends ridge running, panoramic singletrack and historic World War I trenches—an iconic stage that brings world-class competition back to Ledro for the 2026 season, after hosting the 2025 Grand Finale. It’s a technical and spectacular race, deeply rooted in the local landscape: 21,5 km with 1,777 metres of elevation gain. The trail climbs up into the high mountains, following the scenic ridgelines of the Ledro peaks – the famous greste – in a series of ups and downs across Cima Parì, Cima Sclapa and Cima d’Oro.
