nipaluna/Hobart is Australia’s only mountain city, with kunanyi/Mt Wellington quite literally out many locals’ backdoor. This is our most popular run and it’s not hard to see why! It’s perfect for people with some decent trail runs under their belt, as well as road runners who like the distance and a challenge. This run offers steep ups and downs, technical trail sections to test your agility, very runnable and flowing sections, around nine completely different landscape types and microclimates, and loads of beautiful vistas! The Mountain Run 25km is the second round of the Golden Trail National Series.
